Some heads require drilling and tapping of end holes.

Not legal for sale or use in California on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

Modification to stock exhaust required to retain catalytic converter.

For vehicles 1964 through 1974 without A.I.R. systems, considered as O.E.M. replacement parts when existing emission controls are not removed from vehicle.

1975-1979 only, 50 state legal for these years only.

Hedman's Standard-duty, Uncoated Hedders are manufactured using 18 gauge, mandrel bent primary tubes (some models built using thicker 16 or 14 gauge tubing), and 1/4 flanges (some models use 3/8" flanges). The factory black paint applied to uncoated hedders is not hi-temp, and is for pre-installation protection only. For the ultimate in protection against the elements, we suggest Hedman's Original HTC coating.
Hedman has two different designs of the standard-duty headers. There is the Standard-Duty and the Tork-Step.
