    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good heavy duty headers but coating doesn't last Very well built header , thick flanges and pipes . I bought the HTC coating but it only lasted about 5 years . I use this vehicle about 250 miles a year and I thought the coating lasted for a lifetime. With the thick flanges you don't have header gasket issues the other manufacturers have

    What is the difference between these and the standard duty headers? And does it affect performance?

    The elite headers have a thicker flange and a thicker gauge tube, this will allow them to last longer. The performance is the same as a standard header.
