Rated 1 out of 5 by from Notice to other Mopar Owners Ok, I heard that Hedman had a fitment problem with these shorty headers (#78076 & 78070). So I called Hedman direct, and was told by them “No we’ve never heard of a fitment problem with the 71-72 Roadrunner or the 70-74 E bodies” so I ordered a set hoping the rumored problem had been solved. They arrived with a stamped date of 10-23 being built. Guess what - yeah the problem is still there. The #2 cylinder pipe hits the right shock tower/inner fender so bad that motor mount will not sit back in its place (engine has to be tilted to install) on the K frame. Pipe would have to be dented/flatten at least 3/4” to clear. So can’t say how they performed, they got sent back.
