SB-003 - Heidts Sway Bars is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from No instructions, No support I have a 1937 Master Deluxe with Mustang II IFS (1976 Ford stamp steel parts). I bought this SB003 Kit thinking it was engineered for this application! You get a sway bar, two bushings to frame mounts, two links to control arms, and two brackets to mount on lower control arm made for this Heidts Kit. More than two thirds of this kit are of no use to me. The bracket they supply will put the sway bar links way out in front of the lower control arm and will interfere with the steering linkage on turns. If you used the stock links for a 76 mustang and the U Bracket on the stock lower arms it will set the whole set up back over 1" and clear the steering linkage on turns. I sent Heidts an email before installing because I was concerned of what it looked to be a problem and asked for install pictures or instructions. No reply for weeks. Then I called Heidts, They didn't seem to care they have no instructions or pictures or anything on how to install their product. They told me I should go to web sites of others who buy their stuff and see if I can find pictures of their product installed (the web sites are Ford hot rod sites). Paid top dollar for this so it would go in with out a problem. Just get a 70s Pinto sway bar and moog K8229 link kits for a whole bunch less.
