Rated 5 out of 5 by from Smoother response Been wanting to put on a Holley for a while. Glad I did. Had an Edelbrock and could never tune it right. Put this Holley on and made a tremendous improvement right away. Easy install, looks awesome. Don't need a choke living in SC. Bought a braided dual feed fuel line for about 70 bucks. The only adjustment I had to do was raise the idle. Never messed with the air/ fuel screws. Had to buy a 2x14" inch air filter due to the height of the carb. Couldn't close my hood with this carb and a 3" on it. Put this on a 66 Dodge charger with a built 383 and an Edelbrock performer intake. Took car out for a test ride, immediate difference. No coughing, sputtering or jumping at a stop. Smooth, better gas mileage and looks great. Thought finish would be a dull look but not so. Plus decals come in the box. No complaints and quick delivery.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great carb After I got it tuned it ran awesome. Very happy with this purchase. Make sure you get the right one though I accidentally bought manual choke when I wanted electric. I was able to pull the electric choke off my old junk carb and use that though. Overall awesome purchase. Only think I'm upset about is they didn't include any jegs stickers in my order

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good carb, but low information in instructions Carb looks and performed great until I adjusted the fuel float level. The instructions don't mention "if you turn the adjusting nut too far, then it will damage the carb and you'll need to take it apart to rebend the float arm back and take the needle and seat loose". Just a simple note like " No more than 3 turns max or damage will result" would've been highly regarded and noticeable and saved me a bunch of time. Could only imagine what the DIY is gonna get himself into if he's not already a mechanic. Also, the needle and seat gaskets are garbage. Needed to buy new ones after an adjustment or two. Found new ones for less than a whopping $4 on eBay and had to wait for them to get here to finish up. I would've thought for such a highly regarded manufacturer like Holley, then nylon gaskets would've been something already on a $400+ carbureter. Maybe thats just me though, a reusable gasket on an adjustable nut just makes sense to me. Either way, I think it's a fair part after the kinks are worked out. I would appreciate some warning notes in those instructions for adjusting the float before it wastes so much of someone's time over something so simple.

Your saying this is a spreadbore carb is that correct. I thought all 750 were square flange. Is this carb compatible for a GM engine .

    Asked by: Jamis
This is a square flange carburetor, it will work with GM engines using an adapter or a different intake manifold.
