Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works like it should. I put this carb on a 355 sbc with an Edelbrock intake. Fired right up out of the box. It idled a little high but was easy to adjust.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean looking hard to beat classic! I needed to start an engine with a known working carb to parse out all possible gremlins. After getting to the root of the issue and fixing a severe timing problem, I know have a very reliable carb and a spare that I can rebuild and use in another truck. These Holley Avengers are a treat to work with and install, and when necessary, to rebuild back to like new again. Holley does a great job of making how-to videos on a whole range of issues to help the DIY-er all available on their website.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a striker motor! Works great out of the box and easy to tune without headaches a little sticky at first but a million times better than the 850 double pumper that constantly stalled the engine at low rpm! This is a great way to learn about carburetors and the install of them is relatively simple not what I expected. It is not a list art you just have to get out there and look at what your doing! Don't miss out on a great carb you can adjust and supports 600 STREETABLE hp no problem.

Whats the recommended inlet fuel pressure? Is a Fuel pressure regulator necessary for mechanical pump setup?

    Asked by: Brandon_b
The recommended pressure for this carburetor will be between 5 and 8 psi. You will not need a regulator if your pump output pressure is within that range.
