This universal solenoid can be used with a Holley bracket . The solenoid is used to increase idle speed when the engine is under load at an idle (typically when the air conditioning is on). A dashpot is used to prevent engine stalling on sudden deceleration on manual transmission equipped vehicles. The universal brackets are designed for use with all Holley carburetors that have the universal throttle lever and two threaded bracket mounting holes machined in the throttle body to mount the dashpot or solenoid.

20-72 - Holley Throttle Solenoid, Dashpot & Brackets is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Wrong choice Took a chance I could adapt this to my Edelbrock...who apparently does not market a dashpot for their Performer series. It didn't work out--the dashpot is too stiff and I should have just made the bracket from scratch. If there was a picture of the bracket in the catalog I would have known it wouldn't work. Nor was there a description of the dashpot action. My experience with those has been they have fairly soft action. Not so with the Holley.
