The reverse flow design for small and big block engines does not restrict engine efficiency and has the highest level of sound control for the quietest possible configuration.

The glasspack design has greater flow capacity & is louder than the reverse flow mufflers. They produce that classic 1960's performance sound.

For 1965-74 Corvette applications, the maximum flow design has a straight-through, high-flow perforated core that operates at 99% efficiency with average power gains of 23% over open headers. Testing on a 1968 Corvette with a 427 engine yielded an increase of 40 horsepower and 20 ft/lbs of torque, which is more than an undercar exhaust with turbo mufflers.
