Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice manifold. I bought this for my Jeep 304. Very nice. Keep the oil shield off of your original manifold. You need to install it on this one. Also you should try to get the oil fill tube off your old manifold. There are very few places (almost none) to buy a new one. Your original throttle cable mount works on this one too. I used brass plugs for the various openings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great information specific to my AMC application I was surprised to read all the tech data Edelbrock included in this manifold purchase. I have done manifold a half dozen times over the years and learned new tips on installation that will surly help.

Thanks for the quick reply regarding the EGR issue, however I apologize but I am a little confused by what you mean by " but does not have a CARB exemption"?

    Asked by: GuyusesMac
Many aftermarket products use in California require a CARB ( California AIr Resources Board) approval for use. Your locality will determine this is necessary.

I am interested in the 2131 Edelbrock Performer Dual Plane Intake Manifold AMC Jeep but before I make the purchase I just wanted to double check to find out if this will cause any issues still being able to smog the vehicle here in California?

    Asked by: GuyusesMac
This intake does hae provision for the factory EGR system, but does not have a CARB exemption.
