Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Made I recently bought this item, after having Already bought another from another vendor that did not work when it arrived. This new fuel sender float combo is really well made. I had to modify the length of the float due to the depth of my gas tank. I am happy to say that the fuel sending unit on my 54 Bel Air finally works thank you jegs

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Provides Accurate and Stable Gauge Readings I'm impressed with the stability and accuracy of fuel gauge readings this sender provides. I was considering purchasing a much more expensive capacitive system or the popular tube enclosed resistive sender. However the price was too good to pass up, especially considering Jegs' proven warranty and free shipping.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good replacement part I bought this sending unit for my boat fuel tank. I did a few search on sending units and thought this was the correct part but it wasn't. The ohms are wrong for a boat. The gasket is not a good product , it came apart after only being in it for a short time.

Does anything need to be hooked up to the silver screw, or just simply screw it down?...my gauge does have a separate ground.

    Asked by: reginaldo
You may need a ground wire depending on your application.
