Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slight lope in mostly stock LM7 I installed this cam into my S10 with shorty headers and 2.5” into 3” exhaust. The appearance was good, fit good and lopes just a little at about 750rpm idle with no tuning issues. It seems like a good little baby cam that for those that don’t want any hassle.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JEGS LS CAM Had some noisy lifters in my 2002 chevy truck , decided I might as well throw a cam in it . Nice fairly mild cam it has a slight lope in my 6.0 , runs great haven't tuned it yet , sure that will really wake it up . The only complaint I have is the first cam I received was defective , looked like final grinding on lobes wasn't done but Jegs shipped a new one right away

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sloppy Stage 1 Cam arrived and looked good upon inspection. I might wet sand it with 2000 grit and some wd40 just to make it shine a bit and make it more smooth. But the journals looked great and I have heard amazing things about this sloppy stage 1 grind. Will idle like stock at a 114* lsa and pull hard through the entire curve. Looking forward to putting this in my 5.3 build.

I cant find the cam spec sheet what's the recommended valve lash for the rockers?

    Asked by: Domdee
Its hydraulic so there isn’t any lash but it should have between .050” and .150” preload.

    Will this fit my 00 Silverado 5.3 v8 ?

    Asked by: RamonH
This will fit , but we would not recommend this for a truck application and you will need to change the valve springs.

Will this cam require an open loop tune to fire , or will it fire on it's own, just require fine tuning afterwards ?

    Asked by: Domdee
This will depend on your EFI system. You will normally start the engine and then tune it.
