Rated 1 out of 5 by from Head Gasket Failure I bought this gasket set last year to use on a rebuilt sbc 350 bored .030 over. Most of the gaskets were great, but the head gasket appears to have been manufactured incorrectly with the gasket material not being correctly crimped by the steel cylinder armor. Started getting overheating issues and burning coolant after just 200 miles on the new engine. After disassembling the engine to inspect what went wrong we found the poor crimping allowed coolant to erode the gasket material and seep into the cylinder. We made sure to check the block and head surfaces for any issues and had verified bolt torque but couldn't find anything else that would have caused the issue. Expensive and time consuming problem!
