JEGS Heat Shield Mat reflects radiant heat away from body panels, hoods, floor pans, and firewalls in order to protect paint from blistering. Withstands radiant heat to 1100°F continuous and 450° direct contact. Reflects heat by placing mat's aluminized side toward the source, and attaches to a clean surface with high-temperature adhesive (can also be secured with screws, rivets, or stainless wire ties for extra stability when exposed to dirt, oil, water, etc.). Mat cuts easily with scissors. Made in the USA.
