Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, so good. I don't know where this was manufactured, or by whom, but so far it is working just fine. It came with various advance spring sets, and even some advance limiter clips. The old truck fired right up and is seemingly satisfied with the way it prompts the coil and fires the plugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great cheap alternative to MSD, works with 5.0 despite the name of the product, this distributor does work in the 5.0L HO motors. it is the proper dimensions and has the hardened steel gear which is compatible with All steel roller cams. i called JEGS tech line and they agreed. they believed that the reason the name of the product says "except 5.0L" is due to the stock computer controlled ignition module. However, an 87-93 ford HO 5.0L that has been converted to carburetor will accept this distributor without any problems, just have to delete the stock computer/ignition module. This distributor is the only alternative i have found to the MSD pro billet ready to run, small cap, with steel gear. Not to mention it is less than half the price of the MSD.
