You state in one answer... "This intake can be used with any carb or EFI unit with 4150 flange", but then state it is "not recommended for a TBI engine." Will Jegs Vortec heads and this intake work with my existing 1987 R10's TBI? My SBC block is a 1996.

    Asked by: Jake
The Jegs 555-513002 intake does not work with a factory GM TBI unit.

How tall is this manifold, from the bottom to the carb gasket surface? Two numbers are listed in the description for some reason.

    Asked by: Les Nesman
The manifold is slanted , front to back, that is why we show 2 different heights.

The picture of this intake only show the center bolt holes on one side. is this accurate or is this a picture of a non working intake? I believe there are 6 bolt holes per side and this picture shows 4 on one side and 6 on the other.

    Asked by: Brocklee
This intake uses 4 bolts on each side like the traditional Vortec pattern. These are found on 1996-2002 5.7 engines that are not LS based.
