JEGS 60429 JEG'S XHD 10'' Street Strip Torque Conv
Quality and construction is very good and all measurements lined up slept right in like it’s supposed to, the stall is not that loose and it’s very street friendly for a street strip car I am very satisfied. I have a big block Olds with approximately 500 horses and it keeps my RPMs in an acceptable range for street cruising I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a quality torque converter.

Sets You Back In The Seat
Exactly what the doctor ordered, went from a 2,000 stall to now a 3,000 with this convertor. This was the missing link with the tunnel ram and 4:10 gears, right in the powerband now which rips the Mickey Thompson Sportsman Pro 28/12.50 tires.

Quality converter - highly recommend
Put this converter in my big block Camaro 12 to 1 427, big solid cam, 4.10, big heads, 6.60s 6.70s in 1/8. 10.50 1/4. Flashes around 3600.
I drive this car a lot on the street and it’s very street friendly. Not too loose for a street car.
Impressive converter, especially for the money. Nice piece. Really is.

Good cheap converter
Have behind a 500hp N/A sbc th400 in a 3600 pound truck. Stalls at 3200 in my application but is very street friendly. Seems to be of decent quality materials, paint was not good at all. Overall very pleased with it and you cant beat the price.

The first thing I wanted to check was the actual stall speed. I purchased 2900 - 3200 RPM stall converter. I installed it in a standard stroke, overbored 454 big block Chevy. Which comes out to 468 cubic inches. Just typical 4-barrel carburetor with big oval Port heads. using my trans brake the converter would flash approximately 3600. It's settled down about 3400 RPM... haven't yet got to drive it on the road. Hopefully I can update this review. But at this point I can say that I had to do quite as severe modification on the input shaft of my Powerglide transmission. My previous converter fit good, but this new Jegs converter was bottoming out on the input shaft and would not let it slide back for enough to give adequate clearance to the flexplate after installation. Possibly my shaft was at fault. However I have to wonder if a mild modification should have been made to the converter when it was built. Still I am very happy with the purchase at this point and it works as described,
