    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value I use these kits every time I am restoring a vehicle. If you are skilled enough to make them yourself, they offer the added benefit of stainless fittings over pre-made stainless replacement lines that use galvanized ends. They are also big enough to do one vehicle with one 3/16" kit and one 1/4" kit with plenty left over for the next project. The tubing is easy to bend with a quality bender and even slight bends by hand are easy. The flaring can be tricky. With a common double flaring kit, the tubing can sometimes slide through the teeth of the holder during the first 'bubbling' procedure. I have overcome this by using two holders back to back and using small c-clamps to keep them together. It may be important to note, one of the holders I use is the simple, clamp-type and the other has an integral arbor for producing the flare. Works perfectly every time. It is also important to note that the tubing should be cut with a hacksaw instead of a tubing cutter; this prevents work-hardening on the cut ends which can make flaring very difficult. I also file all ends square and chamfer the inside of the end to be flared before flaring. Made in U.S.A.
