    Rated 4 out of 5 by from It does fit, but body modification IS REQUIRED (Used on a 1976 Chevy Camaro) Just bought this recently and have installed it, it’s very solid and will definitely hold up. However, the front subframe will have to be cut to fit this connector in. Also, the area that bolts to the spring shackles is slightly off, you have to force the frame connector to bend a part of the shackle.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Better off building them Bought these for my 1980 Camaro. Messed with them for about 2 hours and could get one bolt started then the connector hole was at least half the hole off on the other side. Had to modify subframe so they’d slide in, had to cut floor pan runner to accommodate them, and had to beat the floor pan up for clearance as well. For the modifications that need to be done, you can buy the metal and build them yourself easier.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not fit I purchased these connectors for my 1979 Trans am..these connectors were too long..when you align the back 2 holes the front subframe mount is about 1" too far forward I also noticed that the opening for the body mount busing was too small to fit my solid frame bushings

    Do these sub frame connectors require any modifications to the floor pans of the car to be installed?

    Thanks for your question. JEGS Performance Products 64712, does not require any frame modification and can be installed using common hand tools.
