Rated 5 out of 5 by from Self powered timing light Great tool. Used it on our 1931 Ford Model A with a 6 volt electrical system to set the timing. Very easy to see the timing marks with it being self powered.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from well made timing light I have always had great service with these battery powered timing lights. The only problem I ever have is leaving the pick-up on too close to # 1 spark plug and header tube while running engine on dyno. Plastic pick-up does not like the heat.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk Very low quality timing light. Wish I never bought it for my one time use. Very dim flash, so bad you can’t really even see it or the numbers. Don’t buy it!

Will this work with an MSD 6AL box?

    Asked by: bigtirenova
Yes, it will work, you may see some extra flashing at low RPM but you will be able to discern the timing marks.
