Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent too I used this on a 1967 Ford Galaxie to install the large 19" coil springs and it worked great. Initially the hooks would slip to one side but I wrapped electrical tape on the coil springs where the hooks made contact and that prevented the hooks from slipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as it should Purchased for installing springs on my 86 camaro. Figured I'd purchase rather than rent from a local store. Its good quality and worked as it should.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great tool. Sure beats a floor jack and a pry bar. Change many springs before the dangerous way. Glad I finally got the right tool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Followup on earlier review Here is a followup of my earlier review of this tool now I have had a chance to use it. This tool is a great design and would work great if it was smaller to fit inside the springs of older cars. It wouldn't pass thru the hole in the lower 'A' frame of my '68 Firebird, it took over an hour on each side to get the tool into position to start compressing the existing spring. The tool had to be taken all apart to get it in and aligned. Had to do the same when installing the new spring. So this tool works great once all is ready but that takes plenty of time getting there. Maybe a larger or newer car or a truck might not be a problem.
