Rated 3 out of 5 by from Seemed very well made but.... OK so I have yet to see a Jegs branded product I didnt like. These guys make great stuff and I love its made in the USA. This product looked great until I tried to install it. The main issue I had was while the aluminum block that attaches to the switch seemed like it was a good fit for the shaft on my Taylor brand switch, when I had the rod hardware attached, switch and Jegs plate bolted in, in a difficult place to get to, I figured out no matter how much you crank down on the 8-32 allen head pinch bolt it wont tighten up. I took the block off and took it to my bench and tried cranking down on it and ended up stripping the stainless allen head bolt. Went down to the hardware store and bought a grade 8 1/2" long 8-32 all head bolt to replace it with and this time I put the block in my vise and tightened up the pinch area and of course then it wouldnt go on the switch. So I jammed a platehead screwdriver in it to open it up, slipped it on the switch and took the screwdriver out and its on there good now. I put the new bolt in and tightened it up and attached the rest of it and it works great now but Ill be cussing up a storm the day I need to remove that switch.
