Rated 5 out of 5 by from Break-in your parts without breaking them. I use LOTS of assembly lube when I'm putting an engine together. I don't think there can be too much of a good thing. Dry startup WILL kill things. This lube from Jeg's is very good. It is thick enough to cling yet fluid enough to flow where needed. It has good tack properties without being "gummy".

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent lube! I just recently used this in rebuilding a motorcycle engine. I used it on the crank bearings, wrist pins, cams and cam journals, and the valve guides. It flows well, but is just sticky enough to get those tiny valve keepers to stick to screw driver to install new valves. I'll definitely be buying more.
