    2" inlet to 2-1/2" outlet. Slip fit connection.

    JEGS Y-Pipes provide maximum exhaust flow for off-road truck use. These fit directly from the manifold to the stock cat-back exhaust for all 2WD/4WD applications and wheel bases. Constructed from mandrel-bent 16-gauge aluminized tubing, the pipes include flanges, gaskets, oxygen sensor bungs and plugs, and exhaust clamps. A JEGS cat-back exhaust system is recommended to receive the full benefit of the increased exhaust flow. Catalytic converter(s), sold separately, can be added for street-legal use, yet some modifications will be required. Made in the USA.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from This is a decent part...but spendy. The part arrived, well packaged, in great shape out of the box. Installation wasn't as simple as anticipated. the two bolt flange wouldn't line up with the studs on my stock exhaust manifolds. had to oversize the holes with a burr to get everything to slip together. lap joints that were formed into the pipe, slipped together very well with minimal radial play. angular features were positioned properly as it fit together nicely and clearance was not an issue. All in all, this part did save me some fab time, and it helped the install a great deal. the price is steep, but if you're on a time crunch, or just aren't sure about making your own y-pipe, this will work for you.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Product from Jegs I just put this on my 1996 F150 5.0 over the weekend, and here are my impressions. Overall, a nice product, and I am happy with the results. I did not use any of the supplied clamps as I upgraded to different styles, and used a band clamp on the front slip-fit connection. I also misunderstood the description on the website that states “ 2” inlet to 2 ½” outlet “, I thought where the pipe steps down would fit snugly inside of a 2 ½” OD pipe which would then lead downstream to the muffler, but that wasn’t the case - it’s definitely meant to work directly with the stock 2 ¼” pipe. Easy enough fix though with an adapter that I found at the local auto parts store. Overall fit was pretty good, I wrestled with it a bit to get things to line up perfectly with the stock exhaust manifolds but I was able to make it work without much trouble, and the result was a very nice looking system with zero leaks. I ran it back to a single in/single out 2 ½” Flowmaster Super 44 in the stock location attached to the stock tailpipe, and it sounds nice and looks stock…it’s definitely loud, but has a nice crisp sound as you would expect from an o/r pipe dumping into a Flowmaster. As other reviewers have stated, my only real complaint is the price point which seems too high once you receive the components and really look at what you’ve paid for...I’m sure the same thing, if for a Mustang, would be half the price. I was also less than impressed by the packaging, the box, in my opinion, was much too large and the contents inside were not secured in any way which allowed everything to bang and rattle around in transit. On the plus side, nothing was ruined when I opened the box. Regardless, it’s a nice piece and gets the job done…I don’t drive the truck all that often, but it will be interesting to see how well it holds up over time.
