Great unit does just as advertised
Installed in an 80? mod. Ford C700 with a 460. The original Duraspark did what most of them do and was toast. Spent part of the morning getting the timing set and fired up a big block that had not run in 15+ years.

I have a 351 Cleveland (351C 2V) and Rick (at Jegs) recommended a good distro and coil setup would be a solid investment. This thing just works, and well. Had the original out, this one in and running with Jegs's Pow'r Wire Ultras in less than an hour. The only reason I'd take half of a star away is the sheer enormity of this thing. It can definitely cause clearance issues with the Air Cleaner etc.

I bought this for my 460 but it won't fit it hits the thermastat housing and find 1 that will clear

Caveat--Fit Issues
I have yet to run this distributor but I need to tell prospective buyers that it will not work with the standard thermostat housing as the bottom is too wide. The installer will need to get a housing from an E350 that has a flat spot for clearance and will need to modify the new housing as well before things will not interfere. The OTHER major online seller of performance products notes this problem with their offerings. I urge all of you to research this before your purchase.
All the above notwithstanding, this seems like an incredible bargain.

It works
Ok well this distributor took me to school. I will never assume the gear fits my 460bbf the cam was so excited to get it going. That it ruined my mood but after a break and taking a good look. But it would of been nice to have that as an option even a note in the box would of been nice. But it worked great and my babe back on the road. Now I have a lathe and other tools to make this work. So make sure you have time to spend.

Check diameter for fit
I bought the product to upgrade my Ford 351C ignition and found the distributor is way to large in diameter to fit. Would be very helpful to include the physical dimensions of the product on the web site. Also cost me $45 to return it.

Which point is cyl #1?
You can set any point to be the #1 cylinder, you can rotate the distributor and watch it up with the rotor.

It will depend on the air cleaner diameter. This cap is approximately 4 1/2" in diameter.
