Rated 1 out of 5 by from It’s a very nice distributor BUT IT DOES NOT FIT The info says it’s for a 5.0 not my 91 mustang! The shaft is below the gear is .540 to short! It might turn the oil pump, but not for long! I have checked against the factory dis and a DUI hei both have the proper length shaft. With the intake I switched to there is no room for that fat dis …. And Jegs was no help, guess they don’t know? The other dis they have definitely says won’t fit a 5.0. ?!???

Is this distributor compatible with a MSD 6EFI box? Is the gear compatible with the Comp Cams Thumper retro roller cam?

    Asked by: HM1JKB
Yes, this distributor can be used with a 6 series MSD box and should work with the Comp Cams camshaft.
