Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect I bought this to install on a 67 Mercury Cougar. The current gauge was inop and I couldn't find a replacement. This fit the existing hole, wiring was straight forward, and it works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Idea Very happy with unit . Just got done rebuilding engine and it only had a oil light , I wanted to know what my oil pressure really is . This gauge looks great and doesn't take away any thing from the interior .

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Acceptable Pros: Easy to read, clear markings, and smooth movement. Cons: When I turn the key on, the needle rests against the stop indicating negative oil pressure. So how much pressure does it take to get to zero? It comes with a light kit so that it can be used at night and the needle uses ambient light to show its position. If you turn down the dash lights for driving on unlit country roads as I do, the indicating needle does not have enough light to show its position, making it useless. Jegs has offered to take it back, but I am going to use it until a replacement gauge is found.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Seems ok Just received the gauge and sending unit. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, but I might be sending it back before then. The bezel rings (silver and black) do not snap in place as the description would have you believe. They just loosely rest on the rim of the gauge and would fall off over the slightest bump. I may need to glue it in place or just send it back. Pretty disappointed about this.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Love Jegs but this is trash The short of it is, the sender that comes with this gauge is wildly inaccurate. I bought this and installed on a new (to me) engine and began to freak out when during the break-in period I saw my hot idle drop to around 0-2 PSI at 800 RPM. I began wondering if it was bad bearing clearances, or the oil pump; I even went so far as to acquire an oil pump, but before I hauled off to install it I decided to validate the oil pressure senders results with a manual gauge (many similar situations with an engine with only hot idle issues I read about seemed to indicate faulty senders as the case) - And yes, it turns out a mechanical gauge showed the pressure, even on a hot idle, never dipping below 25 PSI. I called Jegs to invoke the manufacturers warranty as obviously the part was defective, and they right away sent me another unit. Unfortunately, that unit has the same issue, so at this point it seems like an issue with the product itself. I've got to not recommend this product at this point, as I've got to get another gauge and sender, as well as being out the cost of the manual gauge used to verify the accuracy, and a ton of time.
