Rated 1 out of 5 by from Needs to be better quality for the price Bought it a few weeks ago. Said it was. Shipping, then was on back order. Waited two or 3 weeks for it. Unboxing all parts were there. Went to run butterfly bar through the front and the holes don’t like up. Linkage that slides on the butterfly bar doesn’t tighten onto it. I’ll have to modify it unfortunately but looks dope on my 1050 carb and high rise.

Could I use a NACA Duct like a Quickcar Racing 60-003 to route air to a turbocharger Intake through a Jegs Bug Catcher like the Jegs 50086 as a cold air intake? I know that I would also need an air filter. Thinking above the hood would be the best place.

    Asked by: Rifleman
Jegs 555-50086 would not be the best for a turbo inlet, the naca duct would not seal the base of the bug catcher. You would also either have to remove the flaps or fabricate a way to link them to a throttle linkage. turbo inlets like a naca duct are usually located in the front of the car like the bumper

The Jegs 555-50086 scoop will fit provided your carb has a 5 1/8 diameter neck.
