    Am I understanding this correctly? If you use this windage tray, you don't need an oil pan gasket?

    Yes, this windage tray has a silicone gaskets built in to both sides to serve as the oil pan gasket.

    Hi on the nylon gasket/windage tray I have a stamped steel oil pan and am wondering if i should use rtv around rear main seal area ?

    A small amount of RTV will work in most applications.
