Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sturdy but could be better designed The dipstick tube is of thick gauge, and the bottom flare took a beating driving it into the block without splitting. The seal into the block was very tight, so I don't expects leaks or the tube vibrating loose. The dipstick is sturdy with a tight rubber seal. My only complaint is that the tube flares down from a larger diameter at the bottom/body to a smaller diameter at the top where the dipstick seals. I was able to cut off only one inch of tubing to lower the dipstick into the pan since I’m running a deep pan and want to keep the oil level down low to avoid windage with this engine configuration. I wish the flare in the tubing was lower to allow more area to cut off at the top since the dipstick won’t seal on the larger diameter tubing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Made.in China, didn't work It says made in China on the package and made in Taiwan on the dipstick. That's pretty cool on the dipstick part.... Or not. My engine is a 327 chevy small block from the 1960's which this is supposed to fit. Two issues are my tube is about 2" longer than this one, and this stick low/full lines are moved up compared to my stick/tube when I compared them side by side, which would mean I'd overfill my engine if I went by this dipstick... probably by 1/2 to a full quart. So it's not accurate. I can't swap my dipstick with this tube because of the difference in length betwtthe two tubes. Then I'd be way off on oil measurementsI bought this to replace my tube because mine is worn and loose. If I could buy just the tube I would.
