Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice for the price Has a few issues, but seems to be a good value especially for the price. Happy with the overall construction. Powdercoat is nice and heavy. The mounting points on the passenger side do not fit into the frame, some adjustments will need to be made to the frame. Sway bar brackets are on the thin side, but the rod end setup is a nice touch. Ball joints seem questionable, replaced with Proforged 1/2" taller one (lowers car 1/2", increases spindle height and camber gain) shock mounting nuts need to be removed for coilover conversion and the point of mounting does not seem adequate for increased stress the conversion will place on it. I cut out the entire raised shock mount and machined plates to bolt into the spring pocket ( for strength and lowering the car without affecting shock stroke, spacers will be made if ride height needs to increase) for a coilover conversion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very well made I read a lot of mixed reviews about these on the Internet . These control arms are as well made as any that I've seen. The steel is heavy, the welds are perfect, they look amazing, and you can't beat the price. They lowered my car by 2" and it rides like a newer car

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works and looks great I ordered the lower arms due to stock arms ball joint loose after replacing it. Once I got the lower arms I immediately ordered the upper set.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy this I had to shave a 1/4" off of the lower metal sleeves and bushings, the uppers needed to be drilled out to go on the bolts, if you have coil overs you have to cut the spot welds on the nuts, you can not make spring, shock, or coilover adjustments easily at all once they're installed, the lower ball joint touched and bends the stock backing plate for disc brakes. I work with lots of cars. These are the worst control arms I've ever bought. I had to modify and fabricate on every single control arm and probably wouldn't reccomend these to my worst enemy. Spend the money on any other ones.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute garbage.. ball joints squeak bad Installed about 6 months ago on my 68 GTO, everything went fine on install. Thought the sway bar end link mounts were pretty dicey, but fit ok. A few weeks ago, I heard a squeak turning in a parking lot. Greased everything the next day. Squeak went away, but returned a week later. Greased everything again, turning the wheels back and forth, squeak went away, but came back 2 days later. Ive traced it down to both lower ball joints. For the money, Im thinking I should have just put bushings and ball joints in my old arms and been done with it.

Will a Proforged 101-10014 or stock A-body balljoint fit in these arms? Does the 1 1/2-2" drop come from a lowered spring pocket? If the lowers are used without the matching uppers is 1 1/2-2" of drop still expected? Will these work with drum brakes?

    Asked by: Vista
Yes, a factory ball joint will fit, the spring pocket is moved and yes they work with drum brakes.

Not looking to lower my vehicle, just lighten it up a bit from the factory setting. My headers are a key factor, will this item help or hurt me?

    Asked by: Gener 68
These will take a few pound off the front end but it will lower the car by 1.5-2in.
