Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great welder I purchased this welder a little over a year ago and have nothing but good to say about it. Uses standard consumables. Runs so steady and well you forget its not a Miller. I'm new to TIG and have found this machine to be easy to learn on and use. My dad has been a stainless welder for 30 years and was blown away at how well it worked. I need a 220 MIG soon and trust me it will be a Jegs unit I buy.

No, this welder does not use a footswitch it has a trigger on the torch to control the arc. This welder is compatible with all gas types, the one you use would depend on the material your working with. Thanks for your question
