Even though most race cars are required by their sanctioning body to run a master disconnect switch, many of those vehicles utilize a battery-only charging system.This kit eliminates the unsafe possibility of engine run-on in vehicles equipped with an alternator and master disconnect switch by connecting the alternator charge wire to the master disconnect to completely shut down an entire charging system.
