The battery pack for these impacts do not have a Green LED as indicated in the instructions. They have a Red LED that indicates the unit is plugged in. There is an internal transformer that has been added in the unit to prevent overcharging. The battery should be fully charged the first time in approx 8-12 hrs and the unit will automatically switch to trickle once the battery has reached full charge (the Red LED will remain on). The battery should recharge, after initial use and full discharge, in approx 4-6 hrs.
Due to overwhelming demand, this Impact Wrench is unavailable and has been replaced by a more powerful unit -JEGS 1/2'' Drive NiMH Powered Cordless Impact Wrench.
