The battery pack with these impacts do not have a Green LED as indicated in the instructions. They have a Red LED that indicates that the unit is plugged in. There is an internal transformer that has been added in the unit to prevent overcharging. The battery should be fully charged the first time in approx 8-12 hrs and the unit will automatically switch to trickle once the battery has reached full charge (the Red LED will remain on). The battery should recharge, after initial use and full discharge, in approx 4-6 hrs.
