Overview

These JET Performance Stage 1 or 2 Chips modify air/fuel ratio, ignition, and other parameters with a range of tuning programs that are tested to ensure the most horsepower without adverse effects on drivability or fuel economy.

Stage 1

For stock or mildly modified engines

Fuel and timing curves optimized for use with low octane

Fuel burned at peak efficiency for improved performance and mileage

Midgrade octane is recommended for even better gains

Stage 2

For performance enthusiasts (works with aftermarket intakes, mass air sensors, TBI spacers, etc.)

Fuel and timing curves extensively modified for use with 91 octane (required)

More aggressive than Stage 1 programming for the most horsepower and torque available

Requires 180° thermostat and free-flow exhaust
