Frame Components
Made of 2 x 3 x .120 tubing, (not .083 like most drag race frames.) Has 3 bends. Can be positioned in body at builders preference. Is 72" long front to rear (at normal installed angle.) Top of rail above housing will be 13" higher than center of rear housing (at normal installed height.) Rear trunk area of rails is 3" lower than the highest part above the housing
New from Jegster, the G-Machine series chassis components. All components are sold individually and are designed to be compatible with many car projects such as street rods or pro streets. Frame rails are designed for use with or without a roll cage, made from .120 wall tubing, not .083 as is common in drag race cars having a full cage. The center part of the frame is 2" x 4" x .120". The rear frame is 2" x 3" x .120". A new front suspension cross member designed for stock Mustang II control arms, spindles, springs and shocks and accepts either manual or power rack & pinion. It has full suspension travel for improved ride and handling. A triangulated four link rear suspension has poly bushings and includes coil over mounts. Also available is a parallel 4 bar rear suspension with poly bushings and shock mounts and a panhard bar. Also available are body mounts, front frame connectors, 2 x 3 cross members, motor mount cross members, frame gussets, and front frame horns.
