Rated 5 out of 5 by from Same MSD Quality As Always Excellent quality that I have come to expect from all MSD products. My old optispark gave up the ghost at 140,000 miles. This plus an MSD Blaster coil, Taylor wires and a Davis Unified Ignition module cured the problem and gives me a good basis for a performance rebuild.

Hi will this work on a 1994 Corvette is see it starts 1995? MSD for 94 is 8381 and 1995 is 83811. It seems the 8381 is a problem getting right now.

The MSD 121-83811 distributor does not work on '94 models.

If you click on the "Overview" tab you'll see their explanation as to what makes this model stand apart from the rest. It has a billet housing, advanced optical encoder that is more stable at high rpm, extra thick mounting surface, and the ability to adjust the timing +/- 6 degrees with the turn of a screw, among other heavy-duty features.
