MSD's new 90mm Throttle Body is designed with a parabolic bore shape that allows for excellent drivability characteristics at part throttle. Typical billet straight bore throttles don't have this cut, making power modulation difficult.
MSD's Throttle body uses the same bearings, seals, and shaft design as production models so you can expect great durability. This allows for a very robust design that can stand the temperature swings seen by street applications without worrying about throttle sticking issues experienced by other aftermarket throttle bodies. This throttle body is so good, it's being used exclusively by GM Racing for their racing efforts in Daytona Prototype, SCCA Road Racing, and Dakar Hummer Off-road racing.
