MSD Ignition 5592 - MSD Street Fire Distributor Details

Distributors

GM moved to this distributor in the late 1990's and only used them for a few years. The unique flat cap design acts as a correct-a-cap as the even spark plug wires are all on the passenger side while the odd number ones are all on the driver's side.

MSD Street Fire is the value line of MSD Ignition. Street Fire components offer a quality-designed alternative to the bargain parts springing up all over. MSD knows the importance of a distributor gear. The Street Fire is fit with the same gear used on Pro-Billet models. The metallurgy of this gear has been refined for years to perform through the harshest conditions.

The voltage is transferred through a new rotor to the brass terminals of the distributor cap and out to the plugs.
