Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good replacement I just installed these to remedy a ignition issue on a 2001 Buick lesbare 3.8. After install, the car started right up and was firing like a champ. I am really glad I went with the MSD coils, plus the red really adds zazz under the hood which is always nice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noticeable improvement I installed these coils on A 2001 pontiac firebird 3.8 liter v6. I did notice A little difference in power gain over stock ac/delco d555 coils. Not A huge gain, More like you see when you use higher octane gas. But any little gain helps and it's a constant gain not like having to switch back and fourth between different octane gas.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good choice I was using the stock gm coil packs on my EFI Corvair engine, and was having random misfire problems. Gone now. The MSD coil packs went right on and work perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MSD Ignition I've had this installed now on my 1996 Gran Sport for about a month now. The idle is better and I gained a 1/2 a mpg. Bolts in just like stock. As with some of the other reviews I've read on this, no gain in performance, but it does seem to respond better on the highway. So far it apears to be worth the money.
