A magnetic trigger distributor removes the wear points that limit a stock unit at high rpm. The housing and base are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum, and a 0.500 in. QPQ coated steel shaft rides on a sealed ball bearing and a long sintered bushing for stability past the top of the tach. A precision reluctor triggers the maintenance-free magnetic pickup, and the adjustable mechanical advance assembly ships with a selection of springs and stop bushings so the curve can be matched to the engine.
