Mechanical advance point-style distributors

27 Series

Same as 23-26 Series but with vacuum advance to assist part throttle drivability

32, 81, 84 Series

Mechanical advance; magnetic trigger; designed for use with HyFire capacitive discharge ignition

37, 38, 45, 46 Series

Mechanical advance; uses Mallory's Unilite module; can trigger a HyFire or run with coil only

47 and 86 Series

Same as 37, 38, 45, 46 Series but has vacuum advance

50 Series

Mechanical advance; uses Mallory's magnetic breakerless ignition; can trigger a HyFire or run with coil only

42, 57, 87 Series

Same as 50 Series but has vacuum advance

65 Series

Low-profile; crank trigger; CNC-machined housing

82 and 83 Series

These are similar except the 82 Series has magnetic breakerless ignition while 83 has Unilite

75 and 85 Series

Based on GM's 4-pin HEI and has ignition coil in the distributor cap for a one-wire hook up

78, 79, 80 Series

Designed for use with factory GM and Ford fuel-injected V8

91 Series

Self-contained distributors with Unilite or Comp 9000 Pro Cap

61 and 95 Series

Compatible with most aftermarket fuel injection systems and has Hall-effect triggering system
