Mallory HEI (High Energy Ignition) Distributors feature red caps, rotors with brass inserts, cast aluminum upper housings, billet lower housings, a new mechanical advance mechanism, and adjustable vacuum advance. Chevy versions include OE-type harness connectors for direct plug-in replacement. Stepping up to a race-prepped unit adds a locked-out mechanical advance, locked-out vacuum advance with the chamber removed, and complete advance weight and spring kit for mechanical advance conversion.
