1434005 - McLeod Direct Fit Hydraulic Conversion Assemblies is rated 2.5 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slight fitment issue Installed this product on my 1973 Z28 and the bolt holes on the bracket that mounts to the firewall had to be expanded about an 1/8th of an inch. Have not hooked up to throwout bearing yet but for see no issues there. Wish the bracket for the reservoir would mount on a flat surface such as the firewall. Even with turning the tank I am still going to have to make a 1/4" spacer to go behind it. Great looking product and hope these are the only issues.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor engineering design The instructions say to line up the push rod to cylinder exactly put give you no instructions or tips as to how to achieve "exactly". I lined it up as best I could which was pretty good for the circumstances. It lasted about 2,000 miles. Parts are not available so I bought a complete kit again. I changed the line up a little based on the ware of the old unit. I have not used it yet. I see more trouble ahead with this monster. I hate it.

Will this work with my '71 Chevelle? And do you have a part number for the master cylinder for a Muncie M22z?

    Asked by: Chevelle
This would be the kit for your Chevelle - http://www.jegs.com/i/McLeod/673/1434004/10002/-1 you will need to look at the hydraulic throwout bearing to determine what will work for your application.
