    06553 - Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Tires is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 212.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only 1000 miles but so far better than the rest I have had this tire on my CLS 550 for about 1000 miles. I am not a heavy footed driver but I am a high milage driver. Car came with another brand and developed a wobble after 10K miles, those were a HP Summer tire, dumb enough I bought a second set of the same and had the same problem after 10K miles. Went with the Mich SS and those were great but living in Florida the rain here made them meh at best. These pups are amazing, the ride quality is top notch (can't say silent but smooth and handles well). My concern was rain, if you live in Florida than you know Jun 1st is the start of monsoon season and the rain down here is unlike anything I have experienced living up north. No problem hauling on the thruway at 70-80 MPH but in the rain I don't have that hydroplane feeling i did with all of the other tires, it's as if these soak up the water and stay planted to the road. With offset wheels I dont expect to get much out of them, maybe 1 year 15 K miles but so far I can NOT complain at all. Much of an upgrade to all the previous tires I had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than I expexted I had the A/S 3 tires installed on my wife's 2014 C7 Z51 Corvette when it was delivered in December of 2014. Living in Buffalo, NY I wanted to be able to use the car in late fall and early spring [cold weather, light snow]. We have made two trips to Florida and the tires have performed much better than I expected. They provide a soft, quiet ride. Traction and cornering is very good. Wear is much better than I expected to get on a Corvette. We currently have over 31,000 miles on them and still have over 4/32nd tread depth remaining. I will be replacing these with the new Pilot Sport A/S 3+ before our next trip to Florida.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I had these on my 2008 Audi A4 for 38,000 miles. I'm happy with the mileage given how abusive I was with the tires. Road noise fine until the final 5000 miles. Grip was amazing and supplied far more then my A4 could extract. Braking was the same, just outstanding. I'm in the process of buying a new set this week.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent all season performance It provides total grip in the snow during the winter and great traction and performance in the warm seasons. I once accidentally drove over cracked glass pieces and was worried my tires were ruined but they were just fine. The tires lasted me years and I drive quite a lot of miles per year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I Love My Car all over again I purchased these tires and could not be happier. The car handles like a dream. Comfortable and sporty at the same time - it's like I have a brand new car. The improvement to the driving experience is just plain great. I highly recommend these tires.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pilot Sport A/S 3 on Volvo V50 T5 I have much all weather experience driving in Maryland and I am not an aggressive driver but I do like the feel of a sportier tire and do like to throw the car through turns for fun. I previously had two sets of Conti DWS. The DWS do everything pretty well including snow. But, they offer little excitement. I didn't realize this until I got the Michelin Sport A/S 3. The A/S 3 is a very responsive tire than handles incredibly well in dry or wet. The only down side to the tires that I have found is snow traction where they fell short. My A/S 3's are well into the wear indicators and still handle great even in wet. A/S 3+ here I come!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tires Great tires for spring/summer performance. Doesn't matter if the surface is dry or slick with summer rain, these tires keep you on track, even under hard driving.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tires in their class These tires are great and probably the best wet tradition I have ever had. Overall they are fairly good tires, they start out very quite and very grippy, maybe too grippy if that is real? I saw too grippy because it makes small cars a little squirmy because of the instant bite of traction. I was able to get around 40k miles on my last pair with aggressive driving and long commutes. Like I said though the wet traction is unmatched. The car originally came with Perrelli's and although they had good dry track were poor in rain and tire life was about the same or less. All in all highly recommend these tires, can't go wrong with Michelin's.
