Moroso "Race" oil pumps are designed to accommodate consistent oil pressure and volume requirements for today's racing engines. Moroso engineers anti-cavitation grooves into the pump housing to prevent pump chatter, which will lead to broken pickups and inconsistent oil pressure. There are also anti-cavitation slots machined to bleed oil back to the inlet side of the pump, and an enlarged bypass area ensures a smooth flow rate thoughout any RPM range.
