I want to use this on a VW oil cooler, to block oil from draining back into the oil pan via the engines oil output port, the cooler is mounted higher then the engines output port. What is the minimum pressure needed so that the valve opens and oil flows

    Asked by: grandpanystrom
This check valve will flow with 5 psi or a little less.

Would this valve be suitable for use on a return line with a moroso air/oil separator (eliminating the nozzle on the collector so there is a constant return to the oil pan)?

    Asked by: J M P
You should have no problem using this valve on the return line.
