Developed to introduce enthusiasts to the use of nitrous at an affordable price, NOS engineers hit a bull's-eye with the finest, most economical entry-level nitrous system available. Safe and reliable Sniper Systems are street/strip systems that fit popular 4-barrel applications, and they're adjustable from 100-125-150 extra horsepower. Dyno tests conducted by Chevy High Performance magazine actually reported an additional 163 horsepower & a torque gain of 195ft/lbs with a Sniper installed on a small block 355 Chevy. Snipers include: Installation Note: To properly supply the Sniper System and carburetor, use a fuel pump designed to operate between 4.5 and 7 psi with a flow rate of 0.1 gallon per horsepower at 6 psi. For example, an engine that produces 350 horsepower when the Sniper System is activated will require a fuel pump that flows at least 35 gallons per hour at 6 psi. Actual performance gains will vary depending on an engine's condition and configuration. Though the system can be used on engines with stock crank, rods, and pistons, it is recommended to use heavy-duty forged components for power levels of 140+.
