    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quality Headers, fit Ranger AT on Column Quality Headers. I am happy with the coating, fit and performance. Note, the description and fitment indicate they will not fit trucks with an Automatic transmission with column shift. I bought them anyway, with intent to fabricate things to make them work. They do in fact fit my '89 Ranger 2.9 V6 4x4 with AT on Column. Mine is an XLT with extended cab. I did have to slightly bend the vent tube that descends on the driver's side near the starter for clearance. Was easy to do, bending by hand. Of note, the driver's side collector is near enough to the starter to create heat-soak problems, so truck would not re-start once it was hot. This is common with headers. So, plan on using heat wrap on the headers or starter, or both. This took care of this issue for me. I ended up replacing the stock starter with a low-profile, gear-reduction starter, and it now works perfectly, with no need for insulating wrap. Deducting one star as there was welding slag on the interior of the pipes and some sharp edges - I used a burr grinder to knock off the slag and smooth the sharp edges - turned out fine. They look amazing on the engine.
