Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ignitor kits are great, I have them on all my cars I bought the kit for my recently purchased 63 Falcon Sprint. When the kit came I popped the distributer cap only to find the car had a Pertronix recently installed just prior to me buying the Falcon, so I sent it back for a refund. All my cars have a Pertronix kit on them. Wouldn't leave home without one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked right out of the box Ever since i put it in to replace the points ive never had an issue with it, just set the air gap with the plastic strip it comes with and go. by far the simplest, most reliable upgrade ive done to the car. great quality product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I bought this Pertronix Ignitor kit recently and am very pleased with it. Installation took an hour, but that's because it went into a rear distributor on a l962 Ford F100 with the y-block 292 V-8. This means you remove the oil bath air cleaner, cover the battery with plasic as it will be rubbing your left ear, and reach waaaaay back to do the install. With a front mount dist it would take less than 30 minutes. The engine runs smoother and although I can't prove it, seems more powerful in the mid-range. It's all aces!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great and easy to install I decided to replace the points in my distributer and upgrade to the flame thrower coil to improve my ignition system. It was easy to install and eliminates replacing points and setting dwell. The Ignitor gap is set with a spacer that comes with the kit, so it's easy to do. I stuck with the original Ignitor because the Ignitor II and III will not work with stock wire, which I had recently replaced.

If everything is hooked up correctly it may have a defective module. Call us and speak to one of our techs to troubleshoot it and perhaps arrange a warranty exchange.
